My journey in fitness started as a hobby that quickly turned into a full-time career. I spent over 25 years working in the fitness industry, using my degree in kinesiology to help men and women become stronger, healthier versions of themselves to live the life they want.
I am certified as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor who has taught classes in dance, step, hip hop, stability ball, aero-box, strength and endurance training.
My clientele ranges from beginner to advanced. I have the ability to put newbies at ease when it comes to starting and exercise program while challenging those who have been physically active for years. What sets me apart as a personal trainer and coach is that I specialize in working with people who have acute on-again-off-again back pain (which can stem from poor posture and sensitivity to prolonged standing or sitting positions), training older adults to stay active (and being sensitive to joint pain), and people struggling with their weight and want to improve their strength and endurance.

From the outset Della set the tone for pleasant afternoon workouts. Under her supervision emphasis was placed on the proper technique in order to get the most out of each exercise. For this reason, I now feel more confident when using exercise equipment.
At 72 years of age, I have had 2 hip replacements, 1 knee replacement and I am a cancer survivor... Previously stairs would often be a challenge for me. I was always looking for something to hold on to. Now thanks to my trainer, I am able to approach stairs with ease. My whole being has changed and improved. I have lost 20lbs and my clothing size has decreased from a size 16 to a size 12. Thank you Della for helping me become a better me.
Della was my trainer for 2 years and over this time period my strength, stamina and overall health has greatly improved. She helped me strengthen my lower back which is prone to injury. But even though my back still goes out, it occurs less often and heals faster because of the core exercises she had me doing. She was able to work around my injuries and let me know what not to do to avoid aggravating it further. I enjoyed working with her, she helped me to achieve my goals.
Della has been my personal trainer for about 3 years. I found her to be one of the most experienced and committed trainers around. I started training with her once a week and really enjoyed the variety & challenge she put into the sessions. Della is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor, so our training sessions, while challenging, were a lot of fun too. She always arrives at our sessions ready to start with a routine she has already pre-planned and tailored to my needs. Della has certainly helped me to achieve my goals and thanks to her dedication and commitment, my fitness has greatly improved. She always ensured that both form and technique are correct so that I avoid injuries. Yes business transactions are only done through e-transfers. Upon receiving payment you will receive a receipt for your purchase.
We strongly recommend that you stick to the schedule as agreed upon during registration, that being said, if you need to reschedule or cancel a session, you need to give the trainer 24 hour notice to make the change otherwise it's considered a lost session. Emergency situations have special consideration.
